My Story

Why I do this work.

Almost thirty years ago, I watched my mother disappear.

Not all at once. Quietly. The way a light dims before it goes out.

She was 50 years old — 21 days away from her 51st birthday — when something shifted in her that none of us had words for. What followed was a depression so deep, so disorienting, that the people who loved her most could not reach her. Could not explain it. Could not find the door back in.

She wasn't diseased. She was simply lost — in a way no one around her knew how to name.

She didn't survive it.

For years I carried that loss in silence.

No one could tell me what had really happened to her. There were no explanations. No map. Only the absence of a woman who had been whole, and then wasn't — and a question I could not stop carrying:

How does a woman who isn't sick disappear?

That question became my path.

Everything I have learned since then — every book, every training, every conversation, every year of sitting with my own experience and the experiences of other women — has been, in some quiet way, an attempt to understand what happened to my mother.

And slowly, the way understanding always comes — not in a flash, but in layers — I began to see it.

She was moving through one of the most profound transitions a woman's life can hold. And she was doing it completely alone. In the dark. Without a single person beside her who could say: I see you. I understand what this is. You are not disappearing — you are transforming. And I will not leave you here.

I became a coach for women in this season of life because I have seen what the absence of that guidance costs. I have lived that cost. I carry it still.

So I do this work so that the women who come to me have what my mother never did.

A witness. A guide. Someone who sits across from them and says — without hesitation, without a chart, without a clock —

I see you. And you don't have to do this alone.

About Alina

I am here to walk beside you.

I help women find their way back to themselves — through coaching, biofeedback, and a few decades of paying attention to what actually changes a life.

I'm a Certified Lifestyle and Transformational Coach, Health and Wellness Coach, Biofeedback Practitioner, and Yoga Teacher, currently deepening my practice through studies in Functional Nutrition Therapy. But none of those titles is really the point. The point is this: I've watched midlife get treated like a problem to manage, when it's actually an invitation.

Because midlife is not your Decline. It is your RETURN.

And I am here to walk beside you.
